1. URBAN BEACHES


Malvarrosa, Cabanyal and La Patacona beaches are located one next to the other and form the unique seashore line.  Surrounded by beautiful landscapes of the urban area. An excellent option for those who want some city life and don’t want to travel out of the city to enjoy some beach time.

Due to their proximity, you can visit each beach just by taking a short walk, renting a bike, or by taking the bus or metro which makes this alternative a fast and cheap option!

Cabanyal Beach – Las Arenas

Located at the south of Malvarrosa beach,  Cabanyal beach is also an urban beach with 1200 meters length.   Ideal for visitors looking for something more than beach entertainment, this urban beach has a lot to offer!  From restaurants, local bars and cafés, to gift shops, clothes shops and great hotels, Cabanyal beach is ideal for visitors who arrive in the city at any time of the year.  Whether it is summer, winter, spring or fall, Cabanyal has the right type of entertainment for any season.

La Patacona Beach

La Patacona is located at the north of Malvarrosa beach. It is an excellent alternative for a beach day in an urban area.  Locals receive the tourists with the best they have to offer: typical food restaurants, family environment and a 1051 meters beach ideal for family walks or to practice sports in where locals and visitors can be seen enjoying the beach every weekend.

2. OUT-OF-THE-CITY BEACHES


If you want to get away from the urban areas and enjoy some kind-of wild beach time, Valencia offers five different alternatives.  With excellent public transport connections and not too far from the city centre, these beaches are perfect for a holiday or a getaway for the weekend.  They all offer a great natural environment, dunes, green areas and local food with beautiful and calm beaches to enjoy some peace just a couple of kilometres away from the city centre!

De Pinedo Beach

It is a part of the L´Albufera Natural Park. De Pinedo beach is a perfect alternative for visitors looking for comfort and a relaxed environment.  With a 3 kilometres long promenade, it offers some local restaurants, special beach areas for dogs. This beach is known as a place for nudists. With golden sand and calm water, it is a great option to run away from city life.

 l’Arbre del Gos Beach

With 2600 meters length, this rustic beach is located next to Pinedo Beach. Most frequently visited during the weekends, L´Arbre del Gos beach has also been awarded a blue flag. If you are a bike lover you need to visit this beach as it has a cycle lane exclusively for bikers!

El Saler Beach

With 4900 meters length, El Saler is a beautiful and calm beach with dunes and natural landscapes. Located on the Natural Park of L´Albufera. There are also some areas for nudists. And also important, it is less than 30 minutes away by car or bus from the city centre!

De La Garrofera Beach

With 1500 meters length, this beach is known for its warm water and natural and calm environment.  It is located between El Saler and Devesa Beach. La Garrofera is the perfect beach for visitors looking for peace just 20 kilometres away from the city centre!

La Devesa Beach

With 4900 meters length, it is located in the Natural Park of L´Albufera.    Due to its natural richness protected by dunes and trees, it is an ideal place to get in touch with nature.  Also, La Devesa beach has some areas for nudism that you may wanna try!
